Explore my work

Hello, I’m Maique.

I explore the relationships between people, products and spaces, finding design questions in everyday life.

From the robotics pit to the ski slope, from a conversation to the quiet pause before a flower opens, I turn curiosity into design through observation, research, sketches and working prototypes.

This portfolio brings together interaction design, wearable systems and physical installations — sharing the thinking, testing and making behind each project.

01 / THE PROCESS

Notes from the workshop.

Two seasons of building, testing and starting again.

02 / SELECTED WORK

Curiosity, made tangible.

Six projects. Different questions. A hands-on approach.

01 / INTERACTION DESIGNROBOTICS

Pit Window

A focused window for the minutes before a robotics match. Test logs, known faults and opponent insights become a clear strategy and a checklist the team can act on.

02 / WEARABLE DESIGNSPORT & LEARNING

Fall Line

Five small sensors capture the moments around a fall in a children’s ski lesson. A motion-replay system helps coaches look back, understand what happened and decide what to practise next.

03 / PRODUCT & SERVICEACCESSIBILITY

HearMate

A bone-conduction headset, an AI watch and a connected care service help people with hearing loss follow conversations, save important details and share everyday feedback with an audiologist.

Trust Has a Tempo

Three mechanical flowers respond to the way a visitor approaches. Rush and they close; pause, then move slowly, and they open — an exploration of trust through distance, speed and patience.

Minutes Before

Lean in, and the clock runs back. A gesture-controlled stage model reveals the preparation, mistakes and repeated work hidden behind a school production of Grease.

The Garden That Stays

A rain-and-soil model lets four-year-olds follow water through the ground. Two contrasting soil profiles, a red tracer and visible layers turn an invisible process into a shared discovery.

Observe closely. Make thoughtfully.
Stay curious.
